You need to enter the series soon as places do tend to go quite quickly. You then need to make sure that you enter each of the races of the series that you intend to do in good time. Even if you don't manage to get a place in the series the races are still worth entering but remember - Burn Valley 1/2 Marathon is not for the faint hearted!! To be eligible for a Race Series award runners must complete 4 of the 6 10k races plus either the 10 mile or 1/2 Marathon. Runners will be awarded points for their finishing position in each race, these points when added for completed races give your overall points total. There are lots of awards and prizes in all the different age groups which are handed out at a fairly informal dinner at the Black Sheep Brewery at the end of the series. The races included in this years Race Series are listed below.
