We are pleased to announce that YKH is putting on a Couch to 5K course for the first time. Created and organised by qualified coaches, this 8 week programme will guide and support runners to run 5km. It's designed both for new runners, and those who haven't run for a while and want to get back into it. The sessions will be on Tuesdays at 6:30pm from 6 June up to 25 July, with a graduation parkrun on 29 July at York. The number of races on offer is 12-14 and only your best 6 results count. This gives runners a good choice of which runs they do and allows for a more varied range of races to better reflect all aspects of the club. Lots of members tend to run in these races, making them good social events as well as exciting races. Rules You compete against your own gender in age categories.
