York Knavesmire Harriers Club Championship Races 2011 There are thirteen races listed for 2011 season but as in the past, only your best ten results will count. Points are awarded in each race for finishing positions in each age category. Age categories are as at 01/01/2011 for the season. The thirteen races are listed below and results refer to the numbers as shown. 1 Ferriby 10 mile. 2 Dewsbury 10 Km. 3 Norton 9 mile 4 Hornsea 1/3rd Marathom 5 Melmerby 10km. 6 Redcar half Marathon. 7 Harrogate 10km. 8 Walkington 10 km. 9 Tholthorpe 10 km. 10 Sutton Park 10km. 11 Bridlington half Marathon 12 Thirsk 10 mile. 13 Jolly Holly Jog 10km. Members are awarded 10 points if they are the fastest in their sex-age category, 9 points if they are next and so on. At the end of the year those with the highest total points in their category win a Gold Award, those with the next highest a Silver Award and anyone who has run in six club races or more receives a Bronze Award.
