Newlands Sports Therapy & Injury Clinic offers a wide range of treatments for athletes of all abilities and non athletes alike.

Sports Therapy focuses on musculoskeletal injuries that arise and aims to treat and rehabilitate the patient to relieve them of their injury. Sports Therapy is also used to maintain optimum physical condition.   Sports Therapy is an aspect of healthcare that specialises in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation to restore full function and fitness.

It utilises the principles of sport and exercise sciences incorporating physiological and pathological processes to prepare the client for functional and sporting activities.  Sports Therapy aids recovery and releases tension in muscles through deep massage.  The aim is to return the injured client back to full fitness and functionality.

Treatments are used to;
bulletDecrease pain

Sports massage deals with muscular and connective tissue issues along with muscular symmetry, muscular tone and posture. It can be used as a preventative measure and has many benefits both physical and psychological which aid recovery during and after treatment.
