Vets 2016
Any club member aged 35 years or more is eligible to complete in this series of races held throughout the year.
Team YKH has been affiliated to the Yorkshire Veterans’ Athletic Association (yvaa) for a number of years and we welcome any club member who would like to run for their club and earn our team valuable points.
The Grand Prix race series comprises of approximately 10 events mostly off road and of approximately 10k distance. With some challenging terrain these races offer wonderful hill training for us Yorkies. The £5 race entry fee (paid on the day) includes an after race buffet and a chance to get to socialise with team mates and the opposition. You can register on line before running or you can register at the race. We try to arrange lifts/car share where possible.
The Championship events comprise of individual events of differing distances and terrains. All races need to be pre-entered.
