Vet’s Cross Country Championship
Nunroyd Park 28th September
Beautiful late summer sunshine – soft and grassy underfoot with minimal mud and inclines- not the usual vets cross country conditions!
With three medal winning individual performances and a very close run 4th age category placing our seven YKH members did their club proud.
Barry Atkinson was our Gold medalist coming home as the 1st M55 and being the 6th man home overall in the M50 – 69 event. Silver medalist was Maureen Medlar F60 and our Bronze winner was Ian Bithell. Our ‘youngster’ Neill Stabbs only just missed a medal by 14 seconds coming 4th in the M35 category.

Oct 5th Cuswoth 10k Championship – Oct 12 Spenborough Track and Field
Oct 18th Graves ParkCross Country Relays
Nov 2nd Meltham Fell Championship – Nov 9th Spenborough Last GP race of series.
