Some great results and a good number of runners from YKH at this 10k trail race held in Dalby Forest near Pickering.

We had a great Knavesmire one/two with Chris Roberts in first , flying around the course in 33:15 and Phil Elliot Dick second with 33:51.
The course is mostly uphill to start with and the latter half being largely downhill . With some help from gravity Chris was able to record a still remarkable 5:02 for mile 3, 4:47 for mile 4 and 5:03 for mile 5.
Phil took the early honours beating Chris to the top of the climb to claim ‘King of the Hill’.
Also high up the field were 4 th David Smithers (34:46) and 6th Lawrence Griffin (35:44).
Knavesmire’s Scout Adkin (37:19) was second Lady behind winner Helen Cross. YKH runner Caroline Warrington was 4th Lady.
