Calderdale Relay 2014 – Report

By Chris Roberts A few months ago we decided to enter a team for the 6 Leg, 12 person fell relay around the circular 50 mile Calderdale Way around Halifax. Despite a few dropouts we managed to find a dozen hardy Harriers willing to brave the mud and heavy rain to compete with some of the best fell running clubs in the country. Reeth 20k Trail – Report

By Jim MacDonald This 20k trail race takes place in Swaledale and is a circular route mostly on good bridleways with about 1,800 feet of ascent. Its difficulty rating is described as moderate to hard in Trail Running magazine so I approached this one with trepidation! North Lincolnshire Half Marathon – report

North Lincolnshire Half Marathon, 4rd May 2014  Still only in it’s third year, the North Lincolnshire Half Marathon has quickly earned an astonishingly good reputation. Curious to see how a race so young could get it so right, a group of Harriers entered to find out for themselves.
