Club Championship 2016

Thanks to everyone who completed the survey for next years Club Championship. We have reviewed the responses and have now decided which races will be part of the championship in 2016. Vets Report- Spenborough

5 male vets   travelled across to Spenborough Athletics Track, for the final vets grand prix of 2015. As we travelled along the M62 on Remembrance Sunday we were thinking that maybe we would have to swim around the course with the amount of rain coming down! But when we got there the weather faired up and we all paid our respects to the men and women who gave their lives for us. Another busy weekend for the hardy runners of York Knavesmire Harriers. -Saturday morning saw the Parkrunners get us underway, YKH numbers were down slightly with 23 club members taking part. The Brass Monkey Gives to Africa

Our club's annual Brass Monkey half marathon has been a great success for over 30 years. The race is our way of giving back to the sport we love. This year we have been able to give to Africa too. Over many years the race accumulated a bulk of unused t-shirts. These were gathering dust in our store cupboards, so our Committee agreed they should go to a better home.
