As we’re sure you’re aware, we are now in a national lockdown. As per the government guidelines, all club activities are suspended until further notice. All social run sessions have been cancelled.
However, England Athletics guidance states you can still exercise with one other person either from your own household OR outside your household, so we’d encourage you to keep up your training. Please note that this is limited to one occasion per day and you should not travel outside of your local area. Below there are links to our usual social run routes around York.
If you would like to read more on the guidelines, the England Athletics ones can be found here and the Government ones can be found here.
Stay safe, and we’ll let you know when we can resume.
Local 10k routes
If you are looking for some new local running routes, below we share details of a number of the 10k routes that our club follows on our Monday and Thursday night social runs. In the spirit of official guidelines, please avoid driving to these routes, and don’t congregate with other members. We hope these are of use. (Thanks to Rachel for suggesting we share these, and to Alan for creating the routes on Strava.)
