The latest YKH social event took place at the high-wire “Web Adventure Park” in York. A team of brave Harriers challenged themselves to scale new heights and face old fears. It was terrific (and occassionally terrifying!), and brilliantly organised by the club’s Social Secretary, Rich Tarrega. To celebrate our survival we closed the evening with a healthy round of tasty pizzas. Happy Harriers all round!
NEXT EVENT: Exclusive late afternoon tea, 27 August
Our recent club survey called for more opportunities for members to get to know each other and socialise. A calendar of social events is being planned. The next will take place on 27 August. It is a private late afternoon tea at “Goddards”, the National Trust property on Tadcaster Road. Take a look – http://www.nationaltrust.org.
Tea will be served from 5:30 to 6:20, to give those at work the chance to join us. We will have exclusive use of the grounds and property. The price is £10 per person, and includes tea, coffee, fresh scones and lashings of jam! Friends and family are very welcome.
