CALLING ALL BRASS MONKEY VOLUNTEERS Our club's Brass Monkey Half Marathon successfully sold out within two hours of opening. 1,750 runners will gather in York on 18 January 2015. As always, we now call upon our members to help marshall on the day. We have over 230 members and we need 150 people to host the race. Team Victory at Guisborough 3 Tops Fell Race

Sunday the 2nd of November was a day our runners were spoilt for choice , there was the Guy Fawkes 10, West Yorkshire Cross Country or the lure of the unseasonably dry fells above Guisborough. The few of us who chose the Moors managed to overcome our guilt at shirking the XC by taking the Men's team prize in this hotly contested race, set to host a round of the British Fell Championships when it is run next year. Long Diatance Results Round-up.. ( OMM & Round Rotherham Ultra)

A couple of results in mega tough events which have gone under the radar. Graeme Harvey completed the Round Rotherham Ultra ( 50 miles !!) in 9 hours 41 minutes Knavesmire's Anwen Darlington and race partner Laura Daniel undertook the challenging OMM (Original Mountain Marathon) taking place this year up in the Cheviots.
