The Brass Monkeys are pleased to announce that applications into the ballot for our 2024 race will open on Saturday 7th October 2023, at 9am.
Yes, you did read that correctly, this year you can rest your fastest finger as we are changing to a ballot system.
No need to rush, you’ll have until 11.59pm on Monday 16th October to apply (please note only one entry per person), then on Tuesday 17th a random draw will take place.
Unsuccessful applicants will also receive an email on Tuesday 17th.
Any entries not taken up will be re-allocated to the next person on the random draw list on Friday 20th – put simply all names will be pulled out of a hat, the first 1750 will be offered places, those not taken within time will then be offered to runners 1751 onwards.
