Honley Vets Race 23rd April – Info

YVAA Grand Prix Race 1 :-

The first race of the 2017 Vets’ Grand Prix is coming up this Sunday (23rd) at 10:30am. This one is in Honley (between Huddersfield and Holmfirth) and is a great course following woodland paths onto the hills above Honley, followed by a quick descent through the fields back to the start. At just short of 10k, it’s a good chance to stretch your legs before the summer league and score some points for the club in the overall competition. There’s showers and changing rooms at the athletics club and, if last year is anything to go by, loads of cake for all runners. It’s £5 to enter on the day, but you can save yourself some time by pre-registering here before Friday :-

More info on the race can also be found at the above location.

We have at least one runner who is interested in racing but doesn’t have transport so, if anyone is looking to race, please let me know (ykh_vets@yahoo.co.uk) and I will try put you in touch.
