Back by popular request are the Summer Relays on the Knavesmire. This year they are slightly later than usual on Thursday 6th September at 6:30pm. The relays will follow the same format as usual, with each team of 3 formed on the night based on everyone’s 10k time which allows for a more even playing field.
The meeting location is back at the usual meeting place for Pete’s Thursday Session at the corner of the wooded area where Knavesmire road meets Tadcaster road. Click here for Map. This will replace both the usual Social run and the Threshold session for that week.
Afterwards there will be buffet food at 8pm at the Knavesmire Pub which is located on Albermarle Road, YO23 1ER.
All members of the club are welcome, whatever your ability. All you need to do to take part is turn up on the night. However, it would be helpful if you are planning on running that you email menscaptain@yorkknavesmireharriers.co.uk and let me know your name and a recent/rough 10k time.
