—Valencia and Malaga Marathons.
Richard Walker reports:
I ran the Valencia marathon on 1st December, finishing in 3:08:34 (overall position #7,067; M55 #164). A great occasion and moving tribute to the flood victims at the start of the race – but definitely a hot one with temperatures close to 20 degrees by the finish.
On Sunday (15th December) I ran the Malaga marathon. Perfect conditions, much cooler (8 – 11 degrees). Finished in 3:01:00 for an overall position of #702 and category position of #17. Would thoroughly recommend both races – both great courses and well supported by the locals.
