Training Sessions update 18/04/12

 

Update 18/04/21 :

  • We are pleased to announce that second claim and under 18 members can now attend sessions.
  • No booking system for track from this week. However, we still need to keep a register of members attending, so it is very important that you sign the attendance book at the start of each session.
  • The booking system will continue for social runs.

Track Sessions

Please sign in to the book before commencement of the training session.

Follow Coach instructions and maintain social distance.

Runners will be separated into groups, set off at intervals and use designated lanes for efforts, overtaking and recovery.


Social Runs

Social Runs will continue to start at Hamilton Panthers at 6.30pm. You can sign up on the Monday and Thursday booking site. Please select the group pace that you think you are best suited to.

Please only attend a session if you have secured a booking. Coaches will have the full list of bookings prior to the session. If you have a place and cannot make a session, please cancel it as soon as you can. 

Sessions are continuing in keeping with England Athletics guidelines. Please see below for how to book onto sessions. If you book a place and need to cancel it, the details on how to do this are lain out step by step in the instructions.

Waiting list feature – if you’re on it and someone drops out, you’ll be automatically placed in the session.

To add yourself to it, go through as if you’re booking onto the session but click ‘Add to waiting list’ instead. Enter your details as usual, and when you’re added, you should get an email confirmation. You’ll also get an email update if someone drops out and you get a place in the session.

This counts as your one booking, so it’s up to you whether you’d rather book into a future session or see if someone drops out of the full one.

To cancel your place:

  • Log onto the SuperSaaS system.
  • Click on the track session you wish to cancel.
  • Find your reservation in the list – you’ll know it as it’ll have a paper and pen icon next to it.
  • Click on that icon.
  • Click on the blue button that says ‘Delete Booking’.
  • You’ll now be able to book onto another session.

The first time you access the booking system, you’ll need to create an account. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see a list of available sessions. Choose the session you would like to attend from the list, and click on it to book on. You’ll receive an email confirmation of your booking- we’ve updated this from last week. If you don’t get an email confirmation, you probably haven’t booked on.

Please note that we require your full name and contact phone number to comply with the Test and Trace guidelines.

Booking will close at 3:30pm on the day of the social run. This is so we can share the list of attendees with the run leaders.

Our individual responsibilities
We all have a responsibility to play our part in the successful re-opening of the club.

Please avoid club training sessions if you are displaying any of the symptoms associated with Coronavirus – e.g. dry cough, fever or loss of small/taste.

Please maintain social distancing during training, with minimal congregating before and after, and maintain a distance of 2 metres between participants at all times.

Please carry your own equipment, e.g. water bottles, head torches, hand sanitiser. The club will not provide any equipment. No face masks are required while training.

And, please bear with us at this very unusual time. The Committee will continue to refine our club’s training procedures, based on feedback and experience.
