A large contingent of Harriers made the journey to Otley Chevin on a warm June evening to take part in the annual Danefield Relays. Teams of 3 each running the same 3 mile loop which has a killer climb to finish.
A great run by our Ladies team of Becky Penty (20:48), Emma Yates (22:25) and Anwen Darlington (22:41) to take victory by over 5 minutes with Becky also running the fastest Ladies leg.
Our first Men’s team came home in 5th and was comprised of Harry Holmes (19:31), Chris Roberts (19:49) and Simon Collins (20:00).
In 11th were Tom Ratcliffe (21:00), John Pinder (20:27) and David Leese (21:16), 30th were Stewart Creasey (23:02), George Bilsby (22:40) and Andy Smith (24:45) and our mixed team in 66th were Roger Bilsby (26:54), Andy Gibbs (25:36) and Petra Gibbs (29:20)
