Harry Holmes leads the way to Suprise View , the suprise being there was no view!

Being held on the evening of Wednesday the 15th June this was not truly a ‘Midsummer ‘ race, but thanks to the copious amounts of mist that were enveloping the North Yorkshire Moors it was for many definitely a ‘Meander’.

Knavesmire’s best contender for honours on the night Harry Holmes went badly astray a couple of times , his chances of victory dashed he had to settle for 6th place and  the pleasure of overtaking Giles Hawking not once but twice whilst recovering from his navigational maladies. Giles being familiar with the route and area went the right way for once  and finished in 9th place.
