Being a British Championship counting race there was a both a good number and high quality of fell runners , braving the worst of the British Summer weather at this race of :
9.8 MILES / 15.88 KM, 2800FT / 870M ASCENT. Although it is called 3 peaks, there appeared to be a fourth !
