Hardmoors Princess Challenge – The Short and Sweet 8.5 mile option.

There were three distances to be chosen from, the  Hardmoors Princess 30(ish) is a circular route taking in Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Ravenscar and Cloughton (the original Hardmoors 30 New Years’ Day, available at www.hardmoors110.org.uk). It follows the Cleveland Way south between Ravenscar and Hayburn Wyke, before heading north along the Old Railway lines through Ravenscar, Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby and then back on the Cleveland Way southwards through Robin Hoods Bay to the finish at Ravenscar.

The Short n Sweet Challenge 8.5miles (ish!) goes out along the Cinder Track from Ravenscar to the scenic Robin Hoods Bay then returns to Ravenscar on the Cleveland Way!

Running the Short and Sweet from YKH were Mark Harney who was 2nd and Andy Smith who was 4th.
