Petra and Andy Gibbs ran in the 52nd OMM at the weekend – pretty tough!!

“This is me mid way through a sense of humour failure on the OMM this weekend! Two days on the hardest terrain I’ve ever run on – the only variation was how deep the bogs were, waist deep in places, not a single path, not even a sheep trod all weekend. My feet went from agonisingly cold to totally numb from ankle downwards for the entire two days. The overnight camp was rather cold, a sleepless night broken by the bagpiper waking us up at 6am, never have I not wanted the extra hour in bed!! Still Petra and I came 8 out of 18 in our class/field and it was fun in a “Type 2 fun” kind of way now it’s over!!!”
