Neil Everett and I (Christine) competed yesterday in the first ever Bahtat marathon/half marathon (respectively).
Neil came 2nd in the marathon, which included 1100m of climbing, finishing in a very respectable 3 hours 28.
I did the half distance, and came 6th out of the women (I think) and 23rd overall in 2 hours 02. The fastest came in 1 hour 40.
We would highly recommend the race for future years, it was a beautiful course up and over Ilkley moor from Keighley, then back again.
