YKH Weekly Round Up – w.e 9th April : Vale of York / Sheffield Half & more….

—Vale of York 10 mile Road Race.

A tremendously popular race amongst our club members , 57 ! of whom took part.  Scorching weather for the 4th run contributing towards the YKH Club Championship competition.

The club had a great day with our members winning the Men’s and Ladies team prizes.

Knavesmire’s  Men’s team comprised  of:

Stuart Grange    2nd                     ( 54:22 )
Phil Elliot            7th / 1st M40    ( 57:54 )
David Smithers 15th / 3rd M40 ( 59:48 ).

Knavesmire’s Ladies team comprised of  :
Caroline Warrington 70th /4th Lady /  1st F35 ( 1:06:37 )
Lucy Pinder 105th/ 7th Lady / 2nd F35             ( 1:09:25 )
Jane Nodder 157th / 1st F55                                 ( 1:13:03 ).

John Freel took part in the NAV4 Adventure Lakes 42,  a very tough mountain trail route including the summits of Helvellyn and High Street, on a variety of terrain but predominately Lakeland mountain paths.

Nik Tarrega took part in race two of the Trunce off-road race series. Nik was second Lady.


—Belvoir .

John Pinder was 13th in this Midlands Half Marathon with a time of 01:22:37.


—York Parkrun.

42 members of YKH took part, 616 participants in total.
