Entries are now open for the Yorkshire Vets XC Championships on Sunday 28th September at Nunroyd Park, Yeadon, Leeds. This event is a great way to give Cross Country a go and entry only costs £5. English National Cross Country Championships at Wollaton Hall and Deer Park Nottingham. 22nd February. http://youtu.be/4qSPz5oEnkg Great running from our Ladies and Men at the Nationals , a fantastic event with good running in the parkland of Wollaton Hall (except the muddy bit later in video!). Our Ladies did tremendously well finishing as 36th team of 83 to finish. Mud, Mud , Glorius Mud. It was muddy, we got dirty, it wasn't easy and that's how some of us like it. The easy races are quickly forgotten , but the ones that challenge us live on, strengthening our mind and body for future challenges. Lightwater Valley was the venue for the Yorkshire Cross Country Championship and the first Harriers club run of the year. The course was a little muddier than last year after the recent rain but the rain held off on the day. In the Ladies Race we had our best turnout in a few years with 6 Ladies competing.
