Vet’s Championship Events The next event on the vets calendar is the Cross Country at Whitby on the 19th September. Details are available www.yvaa.org. Vet’s Grand Prix Series. Race 3 Lythe Sunday 7th June This new venue proved as challenging as ever for the small YKH contingent who completed this tough 10k event. On a lovely sunny Sunday morning the race began with a leisurely stroll to the start and being set in the picturesque grounds of Mulgrave Castle you could be forgiven for assuming that this was just a ‘run in the park’. Vet’s Grand Prix Series. Race 2 Kirkstall Abbey Tues 26th May Unfortunately due to the usual clash with the York Summer league our vet’s contingent was greatly reduced! Starting and finishing n the picturesque grounds of Kirkstall Abbey Danny Chan and Roger Bilsby both ran well completing the course in good form. Thanks lads for flying the YKH flag.
