Bored of the same old 10k road races?Want a race that’s more interesting than repeatedly running round and round the Knavesmire? Over-35? Well you’re in luck!The Yorkshire Vets Grand Prix is a ten race series of weekend and evening races from April through to November. Races range from Whitby in the north to Holmfirth in the south, all around 10k and mostly off-road. Added to that, there’s prizes throughout the age groups, refreshments after the race and all for the bargain price of £5 per race. You can check the race calendar out here :-The first race of the season of coming soon – Sunday 24th April at Honley, near Holmfirth. One of the hillier races in the series, with a high-speed finish. So come and try it and score some points for the Harriers in the club competition.
