—Whorton Run ( Weds ).
Just over 6 miles of racing on the Western edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, a bit too much road running for a fell race, but the cow stampede livened things up for the runners at the head of the field.
This was race number 4 in the Let’s Run North Yorkshire Moors Summer Series, Race 5 is Viking Chase (in aid of Cleveland Mountain Rescue Team ) on Sunday 15th July. Racing along the Cleveland Way from Lordstones, Carlton Bank top, Carlton-in-Cleveland .
Another great off road race coming up soon on the Moors is Tom’s Bransdale Fell Race on Tuesday 10th July at 7:15 in the evening.

Richard Walker completed the Race to the King (Threshold Series trail run) – 53.5 miles from Arundel to Winchester along the South Downs Way on Saturday, with 5,500 feet of ascent .
Finished in 13 hours 7 mins – #270 out of 656 runners doing the one-day run.
Nick Griffin also completed this Ultra event.
