Great Team Effort at Calderdale Way Relay

Knavesmire Harriers returned on 17 May for a second attempt at the Calderdale Way Relay Race. A massive event , comprising six legs run in pairs over the steep  hills and along the canals and valleys  of the Halifax area. The hotly contested race is now in it's 31st year and regularly attracts nearly 100 teams of 12 from across the North . Knavesmire’s Numbers Triple @Transvulcania 2015

Marathon Report by Tom Ratcliffe Out in the Atlantic Ocean exists a place known as the ‘green’ and the 'beautiful’ island; Isle de la Palma. It is a rugged and remote volcanic landscape with jagged rocks and long sharp ridges which from the ocean weave their way up to and beyond 2000 metres. Winter Fell Series 14/15 Report

After 15 races and almost seven months of racing the Esk Valley Winter series finished last weekend with the Maybeck Three Crosses. It has been a great series with lots of excellent individual and team performances with over 150 bottles of wine won. In the team competition the Men have been dominant again with 8 team victories and 4 second places. Yorkshire Three Peaks Race 2015 – Report

Good news , all our runners in the 23 mile Yorkshire Three Peaks race made it in one piece to the finish. All eight of our entrants posted fantastic times , and are sure to look back fondly on the event once the cramp and shivering have subsided. Three of our runners were new to the event , so given the cold, wet and misty conditions they had a very un-literal baptism of fire.
