Yorkshire Three Peaks Race 2015 – Report

Good news , all our runners in the 23 mile Yorkshire Three Peaks race made it in one piece to the finish. All eight of our entrants posted fantastic times , and are sure to look back fondly on the event once the cramp and shivering have subsided. Chris Roberts 2nd at Clay Bank East Fell Race

Knavesmire's Fell runners were treated to a beautiful winters day out on the Moors. Crystal clear blue skies, crisp air and the frozen ground keeping the mud at bay. Making for a very nice introduction to the fells for the Mire's North Yorkshire Moors fell debutante Stef Durkin. Team Victory at Guisborough 3 Tops Fell Race

Sunday the 2nd of November was a day our runners were spoilt for choice , there was the Guy Fawkes 10, West Yorkshire Cross Country or the lure of the unseasonably dry fells above Guisborough. The few of us who chose the Moors managed to overcome our guilt at shirking the XC by taking the Men's team prize in this hotly contested race, set to host a round of the British Fell Championships when it is run next year. FRA Relays – Report

We headed over to the Middleton Fells, the venue for this years FRA Relays, at the crack of dawn to get there in time for registration and a team lineup change. It had been an eventful last 24 hours with Tony Heron, my planned leg 2 partner, coming down with illness and us having to draft Tom in at the last minute.
