Calderdale Relay 2014 – Report

By Chris Roberts A few months ago we decided to enter a team for the 6 Leg, 12 person fell relay around the circular 50 mile Calderdale Way around Halifax. Despite a few dropouts we managed to find a dozen hardy Harriers willing to brave the mud and heavy rain to compete with some of the best fell running clubs in the country. 60th Yorkshire Three Peaks

By Chris Roberts Horton in Ribblesdale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales was the setting for the 60th Yorkshire Three Peaks Race. It is a gruelling 23.4 mile course consisting of 5000ft of climbing. YKH had a strong contingent taking part this year with myself, Simon Collins and Tom Ratcliffe, fresh from London Marathon, taking part for the first time. Anniversary Waltz - Newlands Valley Horseshoe, Lake District - 19 April. report by Tony Heron. Fantastic spring conditions for the first of the big Lakeland fell races of the year - the Anniversary Waltz (11.5m/3,500ft) and Teenager with Altitude (15m/7600ft).
