Stefan Durkin was this weekend’s star YKH runner taking victory at the Sutton Coldfield Adventure Unit 10k. Great to see one of the club’s die hard members getting to the top of the podium.
At the Berlin Marathon Stephen Maddison and Hannah Bryan both had fantastic results , completing the 26.2 miles in chip times of 2:43:49 and 3:31:01 respectively.
Harry Holmes continued his fine run of results with third place at the Kirkstall Abbey 7 miler. Harry had taken an early lead in the race, but was mis-directed by a marshal, he had to fight his way back from a long way down the field to finish in a hard earned third place.
Also running at Kirkstall were James Ollerenshaw, Pete Schofield and Vivianne Fraser.
More locally we had a good number of runners for the YKH Club Run at the Sutton Park 10k on Sunday ,Parkrun on Saturday and the inaugural Knavesmire 1 mile.
