—Blakey Blitz Fell Race.

One of the best Fell Races held on the North Yorkshire Moors, this 11 mile beauty  starts near the Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge.  It features a ‘hell  for leather ‘ downhill start, plummeting into Rosedale, traverses Rosedale and Glaisdale Moors and with a looooong uphill finish , it certainly has a sting in the tail.

Knavesmire’s Men took the coveted team prize, the ‘A’ team consisting of Stuart Grange  3rd  , Simon Collins 9th, Tom Ratcliffe 13th and Barry Atkinson 20th ( 1st M55).

Also running from YKH were Giles Hawking 25th, Graham  Gill 52nd , Cassie Holmes 55th ( 3rd Lady ),  Phillip Chapman  63rd and Katie Smith 67th.
