YKH Weekly Round Up w.e 19 Nov – XC League Spenborough and more…

—Spenborough XC – West Yorkshire Cross Country League Race #3.

Race three of the league was held on a tight a twisty course , weather was again very good and the ground held up well , resisting the urge to turn muddy.

Knavesmires’s Ladies were a little depleted , two of our fastest runners not able to run due to illness, meant we were not able to replicate their team victory at race 2.
However due to the good number of Ladies we have competing in the cross country this year and the team’s strength in depth they were still able to place a commendable 4th .

After three races the Ladies team ( 4 to count ) are now third in the league table with the possibility of a decent medal haul to be earnt after the dust / mud of race 4 has settled.
Nik Tarrega is leading the Overall Ladies competition and Sarah Attwood is second in the F35’s ,
