Believe it or not Summer is not far off, which can only mean one thing………………………..SUMMER LEAGUE !
7 fortnightly races for a total price of £10 – a bargain especially as you will receive a Sweatshop Voucher with your race number, and the club will be providing a buffet lunch after the first 6 races.
Pie and Pea Supper will be available at the presentation evening after the handicap race.
Last year we were the largest club in the league with 160 runners, can we beat it this year?
We are also the reigning Male and Female team champions, and winners of a great number of individual age categories. The other clubs and their runners will be keen to win these back so we can not be complacent, we need our best runners to enter as well.
Having said that the league is run with a fantastic spirit, and encompasses and welcomes runners of all abilities. For those new to running it is a great introductory step, with the support of fellow club members, race experience can be gained before moving on to achieve your goals in bigger events.
