Despite York Marathon taking place on the same weekend, myself, Tony Heron, Barry Atkinson and Anwen Darlington decided to head to the Lakes for the last big Lakeland race of the year. The Langdale Horseshoe is a 13 mile course which features around 4000ft of climbing. After an early start and long drive we arrived in Langdale. Northern Road Relays Report

A great turnout this year for the Northern Road Relays with us having two Men's teams and a Ladies team taking part. The men's race started with the usual crazy fast start with myself on the first leg for the A team. I tried my best to keep up but failed miserably with the fast first mile causing me to suffer for the rest of the 6k. I handed over to Simon Collins in 78th place.
