Great Results for YKH at the Summer League

The final results for the York and District Road Race League have now been  tallied, and YKH have had another fantastic year. Knavesmire fielded between 70 and 100  runners in each race and you all made a fantastic contribution to the series and to YKH's great team spirit , cameraderie and continued success. Results. 5.Aug – YKH are hosting a Vets race at the Knavesmire, Marshals needed please.

Reminder to all YKH members. On Wednesday the 5th August we host a race in the YVAA Grand Prix series. Any club member aged over 35 years can run and earn points for our club. The £5 race entry fee (paid on the day) includes an after race buffet and a chance to get to socialise with team mates and the opposition. New Running Track Sessions Start – TUESDAY 14.July.

TRACK..TRACK ..TRACK..............! Big news . Good news, we will be using the new athletics track at the University , the first session there wil be : - 6.30pm on TUESDAY 14th July. Thursday's endurance squad session will from that point become the Threshold session to be held on the Knavesmire. For the last three years I’ve wanted to run this race as id heard so many positive comments about it. Unfortunately I’ve always had other plans and not been in Sheffield on the same weekend. This year however not only had I organised to visit my parents on the same weekend I was also planning on doing a 15 mile training run…perfect.
