Vet’s Grand Prix Series. Race 2   Kirkstall Abbey Tues 26th May   Unfortunately due to the usual clash with the York Summer league our vet’s contingent was greatly reduced! Dukeries Ultra report by Kirsty Harvey. Under new management this year Dukeries offers a choice of three distances, 10, 30 or 40 miles & I chose to do the 40 - partly for the challenge but also because I'm doing a multi-day in July where the long day is 42m so I felt that this would be great practice. Great Team Effort at Calderdale Way Relay

Knavesmire Harriers returned on 17 May for a second attempt at the Calderdale Way Relay Race. A massive event , comprising six legs run in pairs over the steep  hills and along the canals and valleys  of the Halifax area. The hotly contested race is now in it's 31st year and regularly attracts nearly 100 teams of 12 from across the North .
