---Riga Marathon. Colin Lea ( 5:03:07) and Dave Darton ( 04:16:01) ran in the Riga marathon in very hot conditions. Well organised and good atmosphere with lots of music (Queen seems very popular here), and also traditional dancing.etc around the course. Very flat and fast and passes though the centre of the beautiful old town twice. ---Kirkbymoorside 10k. Results Congratulations to our runners at this North Yorkshire 10k, Stuart Grange was the race winner ( 34:02 ) with Gareth Green second ( 35:25) and Nik Tarrega was first Lady ( 41:04) with Emily Baines third Lady ( 41:47). David Smithers was first M40 (35:44), Stephen Maddison third M40 ( 37:58 ). With such well placed runners it was no surprise that we won both the Men's and Ladies teams prizes.
