Continuing the theme of success our Respective Men’s and Ladies Teams were both victorious , with our strength in depth shown by the Ladies ‘B’ team placing 3rd and the Men 4th.

I’m sure there were many other sterling efforts from the myriad of ‘Mire ‘ runners and a number of PB’s.

One to mention is Edwina Wilcox who after many determined attempts got her 10k time beneath the hour for the first time (59;50), well done all.

–Ossy Oiks Fell Race

Dwindling numbers of YKH runners taking to the glorious North North Yorkshire Moors near Osmotherly , for this  fun evening race .

Honour was maintained by Harry Holmes who took victory , despite incurring ( along with most of the top ten ) a time penalty for missing one of the checkpoints

Also running for YKH was Andrew Johnson.

==========================

–Sedbergh Hills .

Popular race as it was an English Fell Championship event.

Serial racer Harry Holmes was 57th , and had the privelage of falling over quality fell racer Karl Grey who had gone to ground in the starting melee.
Simon Collins was 108th and did not get any extra points for a front flip on the crazy descent .

==========================

–Dalby Parkrun .

No York Parkrun so Dalby appears to have been a popular alternative.

First three Ladies all from York Knavesmire Harriers, well done Laura Schofield, Caroline Warrington and Kate Osborn.

Also it was Su Adams’ 99th Parkrun.
