--Calderdale Way Relay. This hotly contested event is one the biggest off road relay races in the U.K, with over 100 teams of 12 runners taking part.    The race is comprised of 6 legs which are run by  pairs of athletes from each team, the race taking in the scenic delights of the high moors and deep valleys of the Calder Valley  around Halifax , Sowerby Bridge and Todmordon. YKH Round Up – Tad 10k & Week Ending 8th May.

-YDRRL Tadcaster 10k Knavesmire's ascendant position in the local league was  unabated at Tadcaster. Results Our Men's A and B teams were first and second on the night and of course the Knavesmire Ladies also won their team competition. Strength in depth is currently the name of the game , our first 18 men all posted sub 40 minute times ! , with Chris Roberts continuing to lead the way with second place ( 33:18) followed in third by Sam Allin  ( 34:51). --YDRRL 'Summer' League Race #1 - Pocklington. The 'Summer' league got off to a great start, with 100 members of York Knavesmire Harriers taking part on Tuesday evening, A nasty cloud burst before the start was somewhat ominous , but it was soon gone and conditions for the race were good , maybe a little too chilly , but a good tailwind on the way back into Pocklington.
