Calderdale Way Relay – 11th May

York Knavesmire Harriers are thinking of entering a team in the Calderdale Way Relay on 11th May. Initially I just want to see how much interest there is in taking part in this event and if there is enough I will contact those who expressed interest. The race is around the circular Calderdale Way in West Yorkshire. It is a 12 person relay run in pairs over 6 legs and you must run together. The legs vary in distance from 5 to 11 miles. Yorkshire XC Championships

Lightwater Valley was the venue for the Yorkshire Cross Country Championship and the first Harriers club run of the year. The course was a little muddier than last year after the recent rain but the rain held off on the day. In the Ladies Race we had our best turnout in a few years with 6 Ladies competing.
