Weekend Round up 31 Oct – 1st Nov. Ladies Team 2nd at XC & more..

Yet another weekend of great running from Knavesmire Harriers club members, with a great variety of events entered and some great results. -Knavesmire's Ladies got the weekend off to a great start in Huddersfield with possibly their best ever result in the West Yorkshire Cross Country League. Weekend Round-up 24-25 October.

Plenty of running in far flung places last weekend . Over in Germany on Sunday we had Alex Bedingham and Amy Garner running in the Frankfurt Marathon and the 5k Pretzel run the day before. A little further away we had Michelle Atkins, Jayne Fligg and Julie Rooks taking part in the 40th Marine Corps Marathon in Washington USA. FRA British Championship Relays

Last weekend it was time again for the FRA Relays and this year Pendle hill would be the setting for the annual event to find out which is the fastest Fell running club in Britain. Pre race there had been some controversey regarding entries with the usual 200 teams having to be cut to 150 as Barley could not handle more than 900 people and vehicles.
