Levisham Limping volunteers needed

On Sunday 4th October, Knavesmire Harriers are organising our first Fell race which is also a club run. In order for this race to take place I need a few volunteers to help out on the day. I need marshalls, time keepers, a tail runner and a couple of other general helpers. Country Trail Race Series – Report by Maureen Medlar.

Having tried tested and thoroughly enjoyed one of these events at Easter Liz and I just had to try running the Summer Series. Consisting of 4 self guided trail races through a real variety of countryside this series was a really fun summer training exercise. Starting and finishing at local country pubs the race fee of £5 included a £2 drink allowance – we waited until after race for ours but interestingly a few runners were in the bar before we set off!
