Results Congratulations to our runners at this North Yorkshire 10k, Stuart Grange was the race winner ( 34:02 ) with Gareth Green second ( 35:25) and Nik Tarrega was first Lady ( 41:04) with Emily Baines third Lady ( 41:47). ---Helmsley 10k . Plenty of Easter Eggs collected by club members at this tough 10, a long drag uphill for 2 miles before it levels off and eventually drops back to the finish. York Knavesmire Harriers Running Club is affiliated to the York and District Road Race League. The York and District 10K Road Race League takes place each year during the months of May, June and July. Eight local running clubs compete in seven 10K Road Races at venues in and around York and district. Clubs take it in turn to organise an event in their area and accurate times and places are taken and published for each race. Wollaton Country Park in Nottingham was the venue on Saturday for the 129th running of one of the biggest events on many amatuer club athletes calendars.
