Our Fell Running contingent were blessed with some of the North Yorkshire Moors finest scenary and cake on Sunday. The 7 mile race started just outside Levisham, dropping down the valley side to then run down the valley parallel to the steam railway. Raffle collection Just a quick note to let all those members who attended the recent social evening and supported the raffle that the £110 raised has been used to buy toys for the Radio York Christmas appeal. CALLING ALL BRASS MONKEY VOLUNTEERS Our club's Brass Monkey Half Marathon successfully sold out within two hours of opening. 1,750 runners will gather in York on 18 January 2015. As always, we now call upon our members to help marshall on the day. We have over 230 members and we need 150 people to host the race.
