Osmotherley Phoenix 2014 Report

Five Knavesmire Harriers entered the Osmotherley Phoenix this year with Simon Collins, Phil Richardson and Margaret Metcalfe running the 17 Mile route and myself stepping up to the 26 mile route from the 17 last year along with Michael Denner. KILBURN FEAST Runners dilemmas’  - report by Maureen Medlar Ok – so Sunday 13th July free – time to find a race! Spoilt for choice – perhaps a 17,26 or even 33 mile run at Osmotherley? ‘Mixed’ Success at Danefield Relays

Report by Neil Stabbs The evening of Tuesday 1st July saw the annual running of the Danefield Relay, taking on 3 x 3 mile laps of the Chevin Country Park, north of Leeds. Knavesmire hadn’t fielded a team for a few years, so 3 of us decided to head over to see how we fared on what turned out to be a tough course with a killer climb at the end.
