The Magnificent Sevenths Saturday's trip to Lightwater Valley ably demonstrated the club's superb team spirit . Knavesmire's Fell runners were treated to a beautiful winters day out on the Moors. Crystal clear blue skies, crisp air and the frozen ground keeping the mud at bay. Making for a very nice introduction to the fells for the Mire's North Yorkshire Moors fell debutante Stef Durkin. Stef took to the fells like a duck to water ( frozen water) , revelling in the adventure and the adreneline rush of tackilng the varied terrain offered by the 6 mile route. Calderdale Way Relay – Entries

Calling all Harriers… 2015 sees the 31st running of the Calderdale Way Relay on Sunday 17th May. This is Britain’s biggest club-run off-road event with around 90 teams and over 1,000 runners taking part in the 2014 edition. Last year, the event included a team from York Knavesmire Harriers having its first crack and finishing in a creditable 38th place.
