Last Call for Calderdale…. 2015 sees the 31st running of the Calderdale Way Relay on Sunday 17th May. This is Britain’s biggest club-run off-road event with around 90 teams and over 1,000 runners taking part in the 2014 edition. We’re looking for runners to join the Knavesmire teams hoping to take part in this year’s event. 20 runners have signed up already, so we need 4 more runners (plus a few reserves) to give us enough for a second team. Some say the streets in the Capital are paved with gold, for those seeking cross country glory on Saturday they found London's historic course was coated in mud. Parliament Hill situated in North London's Hampstead Heath offers stunning panoramic views of capital's skyline. The undulating and picturesque parkland had received plenty of rain in the week so despite race day being fairly warm and sunny, conditions quickly became very muddy around the course.
