Plenty of running in far flung places last weekend . Over in Germany on Sunday we had Alex Bedingham and Amy Garner running in the Frankfurt Marathon and the 5k Pretzel run the day before. A little further away we had Michelle Atkins, Jayne Fligg and Julie Rooks taking part in the 40th Marine Corps Marathon in Washington USA. The BIG races of the weekend were the Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon and it's new sibling the Yorkshire 10 miler. Anyone who bought the York Press on Monday will be well aware that York Knavesmire Harriers were tremendously well represented, plenty of YKH vests could be seen in the local paper's Marathon Special section. David Darton and Colin Lea have been travelling far and wide as they continue to seek out running adventures at home and abroad.
